Wondering how many Hyd Pumps will fit the drive setup on my 4 cyl motor.
I have a fromt of the crank pump, but need to change the loader and the location is making problems.

Not sure I understand the question. Are you saying that you have another loader that you want to put on the tractor in place of the one that is already there, and that the new loader would somehow interfere with the location of the crank driven pump? If so you could switch to a PTO pump at the rear of the tractor, but then you would lose the ability to drive rear implements with the PTO at the same time that you want to run the loader.

I has been my experience that without a two stage clutch, a PTO pump makes it almost impossible to use a loader effectively. My 641 came
with a PTO pump and I changed it back to a crank driven pump. Happy ever since.

I have a '63 2000 and don't know how I'd go about it to answer your question.

On your handle, I had a buddy in the service that bought one of the first 1960 Ford Falcons, 2 door sedan, white, blue upholstery, heater,
13" wheels, 172 (I think) cu in, I6, 3 on the tree.......one of the finest cars I ever had the privilege of knowing. One of the finest examples of
"Design to Cost". Bet it met every spec. 6 of us used to pile in it to go to town. It got 30 miles to the gallon (when "normally" loaded) and
was the cheapest way for us to get to town when we had liberty.

Fun story Mark.
Thanks.
My aunt and uncle had an early Falcon.
The front end looked kinda similar to the T Birds of that era. He called it the Thunder Chicken.

I've heard the term "Thunder Chicken" before.

What's interesting is the story behind the Mustang introduction and the part the Falcon played in that success story. In short Iaccocca (spelling but you know who) needed to hit the market fast with something flashy and cheap. Lots of Falcon parts and "scabbed on functional assembles like the Falcon, Instrument cluster comes to mind on the Falcon, forget on the Mustang, scabbed on tail lights on the Mustang. But it was the right car at the right time at the right price and Lee made Ford a fortune.
