Ford 1956 Radiator

I would like to re-use the Radiator on my tractor as I think it is the original. Is there any companies you guys recommend to check out/ fix minor issues?

Once upon a time there was a decent radiator shop within reasonable driving distance from just about anywhere in the country, but the EPA has been working diligently to put such shops out of business for several decades.

Check with a GOOD auto parts store to find the closest radiator shop in your area.

If such shop insists upon selling you an aftermarket radiator for your vintage Ford tractor, find another shop.

Vinegar might clean it but thats a guess. I know it will clean a penny. You might have to de-acid with baking soda after washing out the vinegar.

I don't know what state your in but I use a shop in southwick Mass. they do very good work and specialize in old original antique radiators. Let me know if ya want their contact info.

That would be great. I have seen one in New York as well by looking at youtube. I am in North East Florida. I have been checking around. But it sounds like this is a lost art or practice. Thanks!

What "minor issues" does yours have? Is it leaking, or is it clogged internally, or are the fins mashed so it doesn't flow air properly?
