Ford 3000 transmission oil seal replacement

This spring, I split my 71 ford 3000 diesel and had the engine rebuilt. Nothing else was noticeably wrong, so aside from converting to power steering and a paint job, I didn't really do anything to it. Fast forward a few months, and oil leaks out of the bell housing drain at just about a stream whenever the tractor is running. I'm assuming the transmission oil seal is bad which means I'm going to get the pleasure of splitting the tractor again. While I'm in there, is there anything else I should check or replace?

Sounds like a engine oil seal is leaking since it leaks with the engine running. The hydraulic pump could be leaking into the engine, you won't really know until you split it.

I'm pretty sure the oil is coming from the transmission directly because I have to keep adding oil to maintain level, and the oil level in the engine doesn't change. It started dripping just a little a few months ago, and I thought I'd try some AT-205 since I'd heard good things about it. I suspect it's just a coincidence, but it wasn't long after when the oil leak got worse.

I agree that I won't know the true issue until I split, but I'm just wondering if there's anything else to check or replace while I'm in there. The freeze plugs for example, since I don't believe they were changed with the engine rebuild (no mention on the invoice).

I'd check everything while its apart, the freeze plug on the back of the block, and head should be 1 1/2" I put brass freeze plugs in. The rear engine oil galley uses a 3/8" pipe plug, the transmission seals are easy (does it have a single, or dual clutch).

It's a dual clutch. Even if they're not leaking, what're your thoughts on changing wear parts like oil seals?
