We have a ford 4000 diesel, standard trans tractor that we cannot get the hydraulics to work correctly. It has a Westendorf loader on it that the spool valve is plumbed into a block mounted on top of the front of the three point cover. The loader would not lift correctly especially when oil got warm. We re-sealed the cylinders, replaced the spool valve, re-sealed the three point piston and replaced the hydraulic pump. Still when the oil warms up we cannot lift a bale on the back and front and the loader will barely lift itself. We did shim the priority valve in the cover just above the hydraulic pump.
Any ideas, or previous experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Shawn
