4000 pulling tractor

Any one here know of any thing to beef up a 4000 3cyl diesel or gas for farm stock pulling? The deere here in Alabama have stoped me from Truck Farming, so i want to pull. I have a 4000 diesel all purpose, and i can buy a 4200 gas. Would like to pull a ford, but i can used a AC D17 or a Farmall 560. I want to pull in 5000 to 5500 to maybe 6500. Who can give me some help with the fords?

You can be competitive with a Ford 4 cyl using the 192 motor with higher compression and more RPM and using 38" rubber in the lighter classes, like 4,000 and 4,500. I have a Ford 4000D SOS on 16.9 X 28 rubber and it is not competitive unless I catch someone sleeping.
