I am in need of some pics of how the headlamps mount on my Ford 4040 Industrial tractor. This tractor is new to me but the owner I bought it from doesn't know where the headlamps are or if they were even there when he bought it years ago.It has the cast iron grille/nose piece but no way of mounted headlamps.Any help would be great, thanks guys.

(quoted from post at 17:11:27 08/01/17) Looks like the headlights are built into the front grille/hood...

The holes are pretty obvious for where the headlights are supposed to go. I think he wants to know how to physically mount the headlight assemblies to those holes in the grill housing.

OKAY, I was over at my buddy's house last night and we looked at and discussed his light set up on his 4140 Industrial Model. He said yes , they are a PITA to install. You have to remove the Nose Emblem and the FORD badge to get to them. Also, they are not the standard #4419 12-V 5-1/2" Sealed Beam Lamps. They are the smaller 4" sealed beam style. He also said he thinks he wrote down everything he had to do to replace them and will look to see if he has the instructions somewhere. If so, and you still need help, I can put you two in touch with each other. My email is open...

I took the piece of sheet metal off that a previous owner stuck over the emblem hole and I agree,it looks like a PIA to set back up.I did fing a set of 3" led lights I can fixture up to work in there.thanks for the set up help.
