Got the 6x2 manual transmission in-place of the 4x4 with the torque converter.
Had to shorten the coupler 1 1/4", had to cut it slowly with a chop saw. Tried to cut it in the lathe with a carbide tipped cutter, but it instantly dulled the carbide cutter. Pretty tough coupler.
With the 6x2 transmission installed.
Anyone need a 4x4 transmission with the torque converter?

that is the piece I cut off the coupler.
