Ford jubilee live pto option ?

The live power option is not a two stage clutch but a seperate clutch ? And if so are the parts available.i see
one on craigslist for sale bad trans i dont know exactly what they mean by bad trans.waiting for response from seller

There was really no live power option on the Jubilee. There was an aftermarket disconnect system that was behind the transmission. I think it disconnected the driveline somehow, but am not at all familiar with its operation.

I believe it was a hydraulically controlled clutch pack that disengaged the transmission output shaft from the pinion so that the regular clutch in front of the transmission could remain engaged and thus keep the PTO power engaged and the power to the rear axle would be disengaged.

I finnally got pic i dont think its live i only see one lever for pto .the pics ive seen with live pto have two
next to each other.

It was a hyd disengaged clutch pack in drive line. Had small hyd pump that drove off tach drive on hyd pump. Have not seen one that worked . just couple that were mostly all there.

The system has a clutch pack in place of the drive shaft between the transmission and the pinion shaft. A small hydraulic pump , piggy backed from the rear of the main hydraulic pump is the power for the system . This small pump is usually the problem when the system does not work. A good polish job and a couple of new seals might fix the problem. NAPA can get the seals.

Correct - two levers.
I've seen a total of two Jubilee's/NAA's with those "live" pto setups... neither of them worked.

i've seen a manual one ( like the old 8n kits ) as well. heck.. some enterprising person may have converted an 8n kit to work on a jube.. who knows. same deal though.. manual clutch'd pinion shaft.

you don't see too many of these ...
