I adjusted the brakes yesterday so
now they stop you! But the fact
that the right brake pedal is
lower than the left is now a bit
if issue. When you step on both
brakes the left grabs first .how
can I adjust the pedal up? Thanks

There's kinda a hump in the shaft of the right pedal as it runs back toward the axle bell - I heat it red-hot thru that area and bend it to equalize the pedal heights -

Not sure if you have had the wheel and drum off, but if you do in the future, look at the part that presses against the frame of the shoe. It often wears down and just needs some build up with weld, and ground flat to restore the correct fit. You do have to use care, too much you won't get the drum back on.

Heating the brake lever at the hump is the answer. Use the clevis on the left brake rod to bring the left pedal up and match the right pedal with heat.

The right side is not adjustable.
You have to bend the rod with heat.

But I thinking (would have to walk outside and see) the left pedal is adjustable threw a clevis and threaded rod on the left side.
If the right brake works where it is at why not adjust the left pedal down.

Was just out looking at it and that looks like the best solution. Got it soaked down with ATF will give it a shot after while. Near 100 here. Don't even want to know the feels like temp. Kevin in Central AL
