Another 6 Loop Rim Thread

I guess a lot of us have struggled mating an aftermarket 6 loop rim to a Ford wheel center, I know I have. Usually I can find a way to get all 6 bolts at least started, then just force it together. But I've got one that seems even beyond that. I've got all of the bolts in, and 3 of the stations are good, but the other 3 look like no amount of force will mount them. The wheel center is up against the edge of the loop base and the rim would have to distort a whole lot to get them up on top of the base so they can tighten against the loop. 2 of the ones like that are close to 1/8 away from being up on top of the strap. Pics below of one properly fit and one that has a long ways to go. Should I just concede that the rim is beyond forcing together and just grind down all of the loop bases to make room?

Thanks!

That one is actually not that bad. The last one I had barely fell inside the wheel let alone the mounting pads. Personally if I had time... I
would send it back so they start getting the damn message that their process is off... or just return it and buy an OEM wheel. I know I will
not buy another one of those things there for any amount of money.
For what it's worth, the last two I mounted like that I did with a pair of 36" tire bars using the tapered end to pry the wheel out until I
could get the bolts started, then suck them down with the gun, bending with the bars as I went. A second set of hands is invaluable. Even
when it's mounted, the wheel is still not concentric... so the tractor will always have a bit of hop at road speed.

Thanks for the input. I'll try some prying before resorting to grinding. As for OEM wheels, are you sure that they even exist?

ON THE RIM.. and not the disc.. grind a small bevel or ramp at the edge, AND... then the bolts will pull the disc on to the ramp.

That's what I've decided to do. I gave it a try prying and socking down on the bolts and it's a no go. From now on I think I'll grind a little ramp ( I have several more to do!) on all of them before I even try to fit them, it's good insurance and doesn't really affect anything except ease of assembly, and I'm going to paint them anyways. :)

Thanks to everyone for the responses!
