Roosa master pump

Hello,i have a 1962 ford 901,my injector pump went out, and im going to attempt to rebuild it. I would like to know the recommended place to
purchace a kit, and a rebuild manual. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Injection pump rebuilding is not for the faint of heart. Suggest re-thinking your plan if you don't even know where to look for parts. Translation: If you had prior pump rebuilding experience, you'd know where to go for parts.

As said if you do not know how to do it you best not try or you can/will end up costing your self 3 or 4 times what it would be to have it done by a true rebuild shop. Takes the correct tooling to do the job correctly and that tooling cost a lot of $$

Just repaired and returned a 4000 172 injection pump that had the wrong blades in the transfer pump, there are standard and oversize valves to watch for too. I'd much rather repair a pump that has not been torn down by inexperienced hands, then having to find parts to replace the missing/damaged ones..

Don't try it, take it to a professional rebuilder that is familure with that type of pump or email Dieseltech, most shops charge more to redo a pump than to rebuild it should you get it wrong, also these pumps must be put on a machine to be properly calibrated or you stand a chance of causing engine damage.
Back in the day more than one of these early diesels suffered a broken crank when the pump was turned up the make more power, without proper calibration you won't know what you have it set at.

"my injector pump went out"

WOW, Josh, toss us a few breadcrumbs or a little more info here, define "went out", what's that mean? That's a Roosa Master pump, the simplest diesel IP ever made, and if it's leaking externally, or full of "coffee grounds" from a governor damper ring failure repairing it isn't "rocket surgery" and won't affect fuel rate calibration or require a test stand, just cleanliness and attention to detail.

On the other hand, if the head and rotor have seized the next chapter of big bucks and test stand calibration comes into play.

You've got a "DB" series pump, and there's all sorts of place on the 'net to view or download a service manual, even the OEM has 'em out there for FREE.
