NAA weak hydraulic pump?

Any hyd fluid that meets the Ford 134D spec is just fine. I use the Orscheln's 303 UTF fluid in my tractors be it Ford or what ever else I have

this would be my recommendation for the proper oil to use, per New Holland

The fluid they recommend for all "N" series tractors is a combined hydraulic/transmission "Multi-G 134" fluid (NH-410B). The NH-410B is the current CNH OEM specification that is equivalent to Ford ESN-M2C-134D. This combined hydraulic/transmission fluid is a modern product with additives that works well as both a hydraulic fluid and gear lubricant. Any product that "meets" the NH-410B specification is much better than any straight mineral oil or M4864 fluid. The transmission and differential gears will last longer, and hydraulics will work better.

That is good oil. But just like I won't
buy my coffee at Starbucks, I won't spend
the dough for that stuff from the dealer.
I use a good generic from Fleet Farm that
meets Ford 134D specs. And I drink Folgers
that I make at home :)

Last I knew the NAA has nether clutch packs or wet brakes, so anything more than 134D specs may give you a warm feeling, and may make your dealer more money, but will do nothing extra for your NAA.

I buy Traveller's Premium UTF from TSC, as that is the least expensive one in my area that says on the label that it meets or excess the 134D spec.

As for coffee, I make my own at home, and I buy the "Caribe" brand espresso roast. $1.99 for a 10 oz. vacuum packed foil bag and I use a one cup Melita cone filter to brew it. My wife doesn't drink coffee and I don't like making a whole pot at one time because it is either cold or stale or both by the time I get around to the halfway point.

NAA hydraulic chamber......

I also use the Traveller's Premium UTF from TSC. (store is nearby)
Pretty good stuff and on sale, pretty cheap.
When you are there shop carefully and get the Travellers Premium.

Because...They also carry a '303' based fluid which will be cheaper yet.
While this 303 fluid will also work fine, I don't care for it in the hydraulic chamber where I live (cold) It thickens up too much in cold weather.

ps tell us more on the NAA 'weak' pump....any ol clean oil off the shelf and the lift will/should be strong
