860 PTO problem

Installed a new double clutch in the 860 two years a go. Was working fine till this spring. The PTO clutch will not release so I can engage the PTO without grinding. Have adjusted it with the instructions in the IT manual. Did not help.

Maybe stuck over winter from non-use???

block the clutch down for a few days and see if it pops loose.

If not, hookup a pto implement like a mower and keep the clutch blocked and bump the engine over.. might pop it loose.

I have a similar problem going on....not a new clutch, but this last week the pedal suddenly will not disengage the pto clutch. The only other previous thing I'd noticed was the engine loading up a bit when I put the clutch pedal to the floor.

Did you try SouNdguy's suggestion? Just wondering if you cleared yours up.
