Injector pump solenoid circuit, when key is turned to position 4 of 5, I hear the solenoid click, but power does not stay on. There are 2 relays on this model, in the fuse block. I replaced both, no change, power does not stay on. Tractor runs fine with a jumper wire from the battery to the solenoid, but I would not run it that way except to move it, don't like the idea of having to get out of the seat to turn it off.
The dealer is very helpful on parts, service and information for all the 3 cylinder models and provide me with the electrical section of the manuals with applicable wiring diagrams.
Pesky one for sure, checked circuits for continuity, even the one with chewed insulation from those darned mice. The bulbs in instrument cluster are all ok, have some spares, but I noticed the instrument cluster light does not come on, nor does the one for the alternator or the one that comes on until you throttle up a bit. Fuses check out good. Ground wire behind fuse block is good. I'm just wondering what I'm missing, will keep going over it, something has to give
