The OEM Ford female hydraulic couplings leak. Replaced with New Holland OEM couplings. Still leak. This is really bad with a hay roller tail gate.
Also happens with other items like loader or discbine header.
Right after you close the tail gate on the roller the coupling will leak about down about 1 to 2 oz. of fluid until the pressure is relieved on the line. This is
not a lot, but after a hard day of rolling hay that adds up to 1 to 2 gallons a day. I'm using the Ford/New Holland style male tips. Anybody got suggestions on
how to improve this situation? I've noted this problem for what seems like forever! This is the style couplings used on the 5000, 6600, 7000.
