Just heard from YT parts, the cross shaft is back ordered and could be months away from being able to get one.
The one I have is in pretty rough shape especially where the seals ride. If I had a larger lathe I could turn it down and sleeve it but it won't fit in my lathe, 3/4 head stock through hole.
Have heard of some using JB weld to smooth out shaft sealing surfaces and that might work on this shaft. It only turns in operation the distance the pedal travels. Big problem is it has quite a bit of wear on the clutch side where it contacts the bushing. Doubt JB weld would be strong enough for that.
Any other ideas? A web search didn't come up with anything better than what I have and nothing new I could afford,
