ford 861 diesel pump

yeah I'm going call him later give him time I don't know what time zone he is in lol but thanks for the info welding man. what part of wv u in I'm near beckley

There was a equipment company up on the hill on the east side of Beckley I used to deliver to.
They did a lot of business with the coal mines back then, had their own helicopter, that was in the mid 90's, don't remember their name.

Cecil Walker Machinery. They have now sold out to a Cat dealer in Tennessee. The downturn
in coal has really put a hurt on the heavy equipment dealers in WV. Carter machinery is the
one I deal with. They laid off about all of their field service mechanics and some took
early retirement a while back.

Anyone know where I can pick up a set of fuel lines for an 861 diesel? It has a Roosa Master pump, missing the fuel lines and I cannot read serial number. In talking to parts guy at Yesterdays he believes it is pre-1958

Not to take anything away from YT but I bought a set of injector lines from YT for my 3000. If I had it to do again I would use 1/4 inch Copper Nickel brake line and fittings and make new ones.

The YT lines didn't fit worth a darn and were a real bear to get bent correctly so they would go on. Copper Nickel brake line is rated at 3000 PSI, bends and flairs fairly easy.

Manual bubble flaring tools can be had for ~$20.00, I bought a USA made double flaring kit off eBay for $27.00 shipped that will do a bubble flair.

Replaced the leaking power steering cylinder lines on my 3600 with 1/4 inch Copper Nickel brake line. Discovered this stuff when I was looking for an alternate to buying new power steering lines.Worked out really well and no leaks.

Thanks Bob.
Kinda figured homemade was gonna be my only option.

Parts drawing for your tractor should show how the lines are connected. If you do not know what you have... Use Google to find a picture close to your tractor, some will show the engine and pump. Then look up the parts drawing for that model tractor.
