Need some diesel push rods

Sorry for the wanted ad but...
Anybody got a junk 3 cyl diesel (or 4 or 6 cyl) that I could hoodwink you out of some push rods? Need 6 of them.
Am still working on converting this 201 gas to diesel and have installed new cam followers.
The gassers used a barrel type cam follower and diesel used a mushroom type. Diesel push rods are longer. I have all the internals in the block now and am ready to start bolting on the head and peripherals.
I used to have a whole coffee can full of both types but they went to the auction when I got rid of stuff. Probably got about 3 cents for the bunch of them. Grrr.
My email should be open.

Have you checked eBay, remember seeing push rods for a ford tractor just the other day but can't remember if they were diesel or gas and what engine.

Thanks Bob.
Yeah, I looked on ebay before posting.
There's some for a gasser there. Another
seller with the right ones but he wants $10
apiece for them. Probably a decent price but
I'll cut some out of 3/8" rebar before I'll
pay that much for them.
Not really but...

Ya, some sellers think that stuff is made out of gold. Sometimes I just shake my head and move on.

The latest problem seems to be dealers listing stuff they do not actually have in hand. You get a surprise when they tell you 3 days later they are not able to provide the part you ordered.

I have 201 diesel engine. Havent decieded what do with it. I would rather sell whole but is stuck ??. So may part out. Also have 6X4 trans.

Sounds like you're referring to Messicks. Their web site leaves a lot to be desired in that respect. If they don't have it in stock it just says "3-5 business days" or "5-7 business days" even if the item is no longer available. I use partspring.com to search on part numbers as their web site will flat out tell you when something is no longer available and you don't have to wait to find that out after trying to order it. It has been my experience that if partspring says it is unavailable, then Messicks will eventually tell you the same thing.

Was actually referring to a particular eBay seller, I know about the deal on Messicks and will only order if they say it's in stock.

One would think if an item is listed on eBay the seller should have it in hand ready to sell. I discovered in a disappointing way this isn't always true. Happened twice with the same seller.

$6.81 each one this site is a good price, NH wants over $11 apiece for them.
I had some extra's but used them up on a couple of engines, one was a diesel conversion and the other was so badly worn I had to replace every thing in the valve train.

Thanks fellas.
I never thought to look here for new ones.
Yeah, $7 apiece for new ones aint bad so I'll probably order them.
On the other hand, I recently traded an engine to Kenny for some stuff. Maybe I'll try to hoodwink him somehow to get the push rods back :)

I have a junk Diesel engine on my property that you could steal push rods from. I don't own it but I think the owner probably has forgotten it is here.
