Hey guys I goofed up and didn't take a photo of all the connections from my battery, starter, etc...to my solenoid on my 861. I was changing it out and for some reason just cannot figure out how to get this thing connected properly. Thanks!!

3 wire of 4 wire?? If 4 wire does it have 4 wires going to it or just he 2 big battery and starter posts and the n2 small posts?? If it is a 3 wire look at the small post and you should see markings on it with say an S for start and or Ign or I which would be a ballast resister by pass which a 6 volt system does not use

Assuming correct 4 post relay, 1 big terminal to bat hot, 1 big terminal to starter lug. 1 small terminal to trans mounted start switch, 1 small terminal to "coil" side of key switch. That way, key has to be on to crank.

and for some reason the edit feature was down.

The edit feature has been unavailable on this site since a software upgrade well over a year ago, maybe two. Apparently, with the new version the Classic View and Modern View of the message threads are stored in two separate databases and the software doesn't know how to do an edit on both, so the admins of the site opted for neither.

Okay Soundguy I have one wire from the positive side of the coil, a wire from the starter button, two wires from the ignition lock cylinder, with one obviously previously connected to a bigger post on the relay. This error of memory on my part is very unusual.
