I just got an early 640 at auction. Since I couldn't talk with the owner and don't know when/if these were ever changed, I plan on changing them. The owners manual says SAE 80 in trans. and differential, and hydraulic oil in hydraulics. I was told all 3 use the same oil. Was this changed in the last 30 or so years? :?: :?
Thanks for your input.

I use UTF in all my fords as long as it meets the Ford spec 134D. I have been using the Orchseln's 303 fluid and get it for under $25 for 5 gal

Use utf in all 3, or gear oil in diffy and trans, and utf or Hyds in Hyds.

I lil utf in all 3, Hyds and diffy can mix if a seal is bad.. Dont want gear oil in Hyds or hyd fluid in gear oil, thus utf is a good safe bet.
