851 d with pto problem

my 851 pto quit.. no longer turning. the shift lever had little grind no much but push leveler to back there noting happened to driver shaft what could it be ... torn in shifting look at the fork and it look find.. i can manual pull the rod that move shift fine and easy back and forth ok but still wont move the pto do any have paper on 851 pto 5 speed

guess i have beat off tomorrow what so much fun..

Do you mean the shear pin in the Over Running Clutch on the back of the tractor? If so, that is an aftermarket item and the type that yours has would vary from one brand to another. Some used a roll pin, some used a shear bolt. If it was me I would just buy a new ORC assembly. They can be gotten lots of places for under $50.00, and the safety of yourself and those around you is worth that much and more.
