Cant seem to find a wiring diagram. specifically, where the wires go from the voltage regulator. Put in new alternator and voltage reg but the wiring on the tractor side is shoddy, to be nice...... in- laws tractor and he doesn't like to put money into so was trying to see if there's a way to hard wire the regulator or if I'm buying them a new harness. Thanks!

If you have a Motorola alternator F on the regulator goes to the field on the alt A to the output on the alt I to key switch an G to the warming light.

also, what harness would I need if we replace the whole thing? It has to have a square 4 prong connector for the regulator and I cant seem to find a good enough pic of any harness

The regulator is on the plate in front of the fuel tank that the battery tray pivots on. The F wire is brown/green the A wire is brown/yellow at the regulator and spliced to the red wire at the alternator the I wire is brown/white and the G wire is black.

Thanks! Do you happen to know which harness I would need to replace? The p/n I keep coming up with is C9NN14A103C. one site says for generator, others say alternator. I'm trying to get him to buy a harness instead of a hardwire so maybe I can get lights/gauges/ etc working too

Can't post the pdf files here, but if you contact me via YT Safe-mail assistant, using my email on Modern View, I will send you the schematics.
