Help!! Loaned out my reconditioned 530 baler and when returned it was nearly a basket case. I have most everything repaired and or corrected except broken needles. I am aware that they can be welded, but would rather buy intact used ones instead. I have searched the internet with no luck. Does anyone out there have a 530 they are parting out and would be willing to sell the needles?? Thank you. Dr. Bert Email is open. PS-- I think the part number is 142498. Very difficult to read so may be wrong.
 
You may have the part number incorrect. The number stamped or cast on the part is not always the part number that is used to order the part. Parts site shows two different needles for the 530 series balers depending on which exact model you have.

I have a Ford baler to sell parts from. I pretty sure it is a 530 twine tie baler and the needles are in good shape. Is this what you are looking for then let me know.
 
hurleyjd: Yes, I am searching for needles for my damaged 530 Ford twine tie baler. Very much interested!!! Name your price and possibly a picture. If the picture is not possible, I trust your description. Will take both needles. Thank you---Dr. Bert
 
Sean in PA:: Thank you for the information. I have a pair of welded 7500574 needles, but they are different from the broken needles on the baler. They have two 1/2 in holes in the end that bolts to the support and no plate for the bottom side like the above mentioned. Now that I have confirmation about what will work, I will check into buying a pair. Again, thank you.---Dr. Bert
