I just purchased a 640 ,raised hood to put in gas no gas cap ,so do I need to get a vented or non vented gas cap ? THANKS

Pretty sure it takes a vented cap as it's a gravity flow system.

Both vented caps I got from Napa needed a hole drilled in em. I guess they wasn't " vented" enough. Oh well. 640 and 960 working good!

You can get one of these from Dennis Carpenter; p/n NAA-9030-G WITH GAUGE. If'N ya gotta be closer to original, try your CNH dealer as they sell a vented gas cap as well...
