ford 740 front pedestal adjustment

I have a 740 that has some front wheel wobble. Is there a pedestal adjustment or shims that can be added or removed to reduce the symptoms? Steering box and drag link are both tight.

Does the entire spindle shaft coming out of the bottom of the pedestal wobble, or just the wheels? If it is just the wheels I would suspect the wheel bearings need replacing, plus possibly the spindles might be worn if it was run too long with loose bearings.

If the entire spindle shaft is wobbling in the pedestal, then I would suspect the bearings inside the pedestal are worn and need replacing. And again, the shaft itself might be worn if it has run with loose bearings for too long. Another less likely possibility is that the the nut on the top of the shaft has loosened, but it's supposed to be held in place by a cotter pin.
