Anyone on here live near Scottsville, Ky?

Looking for someone near Scottsville, Ky who could possibly oversee the overhaul of this tractor? or possibly do the whole job? ( assuming you can see what I have uploaded?) Ford 4000, diesel.
Or do you know someone who is reliable in this area to recommend?

Can not help on tractor but you did
bring back memories. In 1971 a job
transfer to Summer Shade, Ky. and we
lived in Glasglow, Ky. We lived tbere
1 year. Very pleasant experience in
Eighty-Eight, Ky. also.

I live north of you in Breckinridge County, have two 4000's of my own plus the 4500 industrial version.
Seen the pics, looks like it's been setting for a while.
May be able to drive down and look it over, give some advice.
Wouldn't mind helping but it would be a few weeks, going to start mowing and baling hay next week and have a couple of small maintenance jobs to do on my 5000 and 6610 before we get started.
Have four farms totaling 120 acres of hay to put up (small fields), if weather holds it takes me a couple weeks or more to get done, another week to haul in all in to the two farms we have cattle on.

Have a friend outside of Scottsville that does work on my poultry barns.

Can you give a reason for the needed overhaul, using oil, low compression, hard to start, knocking, locked up ?

:) Glad I brought a smile to your face!!! Been within 30 miles of where I am now, all my life, except when I was very little, Its home, it feels right, I like to travel but I always like to come home!! Thanks for the comment!! :)

:) That is so very kind of you, and I appreciate it so much, however I guess it is going to have to set awhile longer, I was able to purchase a 8 N Ford, and that took all my money, we tried pulling a 6 ft bushog with it, that was supposed to go with the Ford 4000 , and ended up breaking off the pto shaft, I really wish that I would have rented a tractor and got the bushoging done, but I hated to spend the money when I thought I could own one and have it when it was needed, but Here I set, with two tractors, both not functional. Maybe I can contact you later, maybe when you are not so busy and I have recovered some money? I guess the grass will just have to keep on growing. :?

 I ranted on and did not answer your question, as to why the tractor went down,, it was loosing compression, and a friend opened it up thinking that maybe he could fix it, and I suppose that made things worse, since that has been at least a year ago. We bought 286.00 worth of gaskets, etc, but I guess that is just a small part of what is actually needed. I may try to contact you later, thanks a bunch. My phone is 270-618-7770

Thank you so very much, I had it set up with them to overhaul the 4000, then I got a chance to buy the 8N , and cancelled out, but now they are both down. :(
