Replacing power steering tubes to cylinders

Had to braze a couple places on two power steering lines to a cylinder on my 3600 due to them rubbing thin in places they were routed without enough clearance and were leaking. My 3000 also has a few issues with the same tubes and thinking about replacing all 8 with brake line.

Found this on the auction site..
Copper Nickel Brake Line Tubing Kit 1/4 OD 25 Foot Coil Roll & 7/16-24 Fittings. $47.95

It comes with 16 fittings which is just enough for two tractors, Buddy of mine that has built several hot rods swears by the Copper-Nickel tubing because of ease in bending and flaring. Looks like the fittings are brass rather than steel but thinking that won't be an issue.

Wondering if anyone else has gone a similar route?
 
On that application I would probably use regular steel brake line the silver look'N line. Its not a rigid mount you would normally use in a automotive application. I guess worst case Ni/copper would last 20 years instead of 40. I would use steel line nuts you can reuse your old ones are get new ones at a parts store.

A double flaring tool, brake line bending pliers for the short bends and a little practice will get'er none. 1/4" is not hard to bend by hand but anything up is. Have fun its enjoyable to roll your own other than time consuming...

Would have provided a link but think the site owner of this site would view it as competition. Is there more than one auction site that has been around forever and is the first that normally comes to mind when anyone mentions on line auctions.

Being 73 20 years will be good enough for me and easy is good.
