All, Just trying to find out if there are options to the standard fuel configuration? Got a clog in the tank valve/strainer again and it is hard to get that thing on and off due to being so close to the valve cover. Between that and the glass bowl that has a tendency to leak, really would like to make it easier just in case it happens again. And yes, I will clean the tank when I remove it but have done it before. Thanks

Why not just clean the crud out of the tank? I have used a siphon and just siphon 2-3 gallons out into milk jugs, then pour the good fuel/gas back and pour the crud into the waste oil. Another option is to remove the valve cover to get more room. It just rolls out to the right side.

An option to the standard configuration is to put a 90 deg elbow in place of the sediment bowl and then put an inline filter and cut off.
