134 vs 172 diffrences?

Found a older tractor on a dealer lot, think its newer than a jubulie, but the emblum is missing on the front of the hood above the grille, cant tell if its possibly a 600 or 800. Engine looks like it could be a 172, but ive never really looked that hard at a 134 to know if theres any differance. Tractor has a tool box built in to the left side step board, 4 speed trans (top cover and pattern look like a 8N but lever has a bend in it) has a sherman combination trans (and the tag instructions under steering wheel nut) hood has a air intake on the left side, dont think it had a proofmeter. No power steering. I know it has 3 point but never walked around the back of it to look for a remote hyd hookup, or look at the pto. I did see the hyd pump on right side rear of engine (like i rember seeing on a 64 4000) paint looked to be original grey/red, not great shape but could tell what the color was. Wasnt sure where to look for a serial #, probly under some oil and dirt. Any idea what this was? Kind of wish id asked about it, the sherman combo alone may have been worth getting it for. It moved through the ranges ok. Was the first one ive ever seen in person. Wonder if it could be put into a 2N? Granted, unless its absolutly junk, even a 134 would be a better more versatile machine than a N., wish the front hood meddallion wasnt missing, that was the best way for me to know what it was.

on a hunch i checked to see if dealer has a website. It does and this mystry tractor is a 53 NAA. For 2750. Hopefully i can post a link. Its in findlay ohio.

Sounds like a 53 (Jubilee) or 54 NAA.

All NAAs have the 134 CI OHV engine.

With enough money or time many things are possible, but installing a 53 or later Ford OHV engine into an earlier Ford N is simply not practical.

If it is a 53, then it is a golden Jubilee.
54 was the NAA, an almost identical tractor.
53 is worth a fair bit more, not because it was a better tractor
but because it was a jubilee.

Judging from the photo and serial number its a '53 jubilee with sherman combo. looks like the front spindel/hub will need some attention. also because of the loader
that was on there i would suggest a close inspection of the axle for cracks. might not be a deal breaker but might help with the nego.
it should have the 134 in it. post the numbers on the lower half of the block.

Looks like a Jubilee or NAA, same tractor. If you want one that size, I would recommend a 640, 650, or 660, then you have the 641, 651, or 661 or the early 2000's with the 134 engine. These tractors had a lot better rear-ends in them and hydraulics too.
