Ford 3000 Generator Connection Question

Hi folks.

One of the connections on my Ford 3000's generator appears to have come loose inside the unit. I believe it's the one for the field, the spade connection closest to me as I'm looking at the generator. Do any of you know how I should go about disassembling the generator to attempt to reattach this connection, or is it a lost cause requiring me to purchase a new genny?

The insulated spade connector screws to barrel (screw visible outside of barrel) as seen here. Remove rear end plate to access.

Thanks. I'm guessing those two screws on either side of the genny are what allows one to remove the plate. Correct?
