I recently ended up with water in my fuel tank. I have drained and flushed it out. Tank, bowl and carb, but now it will only run for a few seconds and the dies. Any suggestions?

Water in the tank means rust in the carb so you need to do a real good clean up of the carb. You need a good carb cleaner to soak it in then a can or 2 of spray carb cleaner and compressed air. And the most important thing you need is a small piece of wire or as I use a torch tip cleaner tool so you can poke out all the passage ways or you will leave rust behind and that will cause major carb problems

Make sure you have all three filters cleaned out. When you drained the tank you
might have plugged one or more up.

I have been doing carbs for years and most of the time I get it clean the first time but once in a while I miss something and have to go back in but poking out the passageways is the most important thing to do since them little pieces of rust/dirt tend to like to stay where they are with just air or spray carb cleaner
