Ford NAA differential bearing seating depth question

I want to start by saying I just joined the site after trolling a while. I'm currently restoring a 1953 Ford NAA. I've tore everything down and have cleaned the individual parts. I've finally started installing new parts. Here's my first question, when pressing the differiential bearing onto the rear diff. can you seat the bearing to deep? I've looked all over the internet trying to find this awnser. I don't personally know anyone who restores tractors so this is why I came here seeking awnsers. Thanks, Casey

I used the old bearing to press the new one on. I thought I
messed up by pressing it on to far with the press after
comparing the new bearing with a picture of the original. The
reason I though I messed up is because the old bearing
starter to press into the differential.
