Clutch stuck while using the tractor.

Long post.
Got a Jubilee that I've had for maybe 20 years. Use it a lot with a blade and box blade landscaping and just moving dirt and well as mowing.
I have been abused the clutch on occasion. It has never stuck while the tractor was setting for a while.
The other day, the clutch stuck while using the box blade to level out some dirt. Very light work.
I realized the tractor was still moving while the clutch pedal was down.
Turned the tractor off and restarted it and could not put it in gear.
Finally started it in gear, easy to do on a NAA. The blade stayed up or I could never have started it. Drove it around to take the box blade off, hit the brakes real hard and the clutch broke loose and operated normal. Used it some more.
Yesterday, I split the tractor and removed the clutch.
Only thing I could find wrong was the pilot bearing is froze.

So, could a bad pilot bearing drive the tractor? keeping in mind the main shaft goes into easy and rotates easy.

Clutch plate is .40" thick. Anybody know what a new one measures?

Ordered one from this site.

Anyone know what the pressure plate finger height should be?

Simple answer is yes a stuck pilot shaft bearing could well have been the problem and the shaft was rusted to the bearing till you freed it up and then it spun in the bearing. I would now check that the shaft has not been harmed by the bearing since running ti was then metal to metal and it does not take a long time to eat a lot of metal off of things

Ozlander,Here is a template for you that you can make one from, then you will always have one.

I thought I had been abusing the clutch, but the rear side still has writing and grind marks where they surfaced the face after making it.
The front still has the marks, but more worn.
