Seat question

I picked up a rest o ride seat a while back that I'm restoring for my 1811. I noticed in my master parts list that it first shows up in 1955. The exploded image shows a seat height adjustment handle and spring that is absent on mine. I'm wondering if I have an earlier version or one from a Case or John Deere because they are also listed on the replacement bushings as using this seat. Mine does have traces of Ford red and grey. The hinge base does'nt have a hole for the handle. Anybody else have one with no handle? Thanks, Mike

Mike, I have a installation and operation instructions manual for the rest-o-ride seat on a PDF. It is for Ford, published date is 1963. I can e-mail it to you if you would like.
