hydralic lift works on start up only and then stops

I cleaned and put new hydraulic oil in the hydraulic sump. Now the hydraulics works on start up but once the lever is moved down the hydraulic wont move up again. Tried blowing air in dip stick and loosening up the pump plug. If I let it sit for awhile it will work but does the same thing. Any help would be great.

do you have remotes or not? If yes, make sure one is not kicked in.

Remotes are hydraulic lines that run towards the rear of the tractor and end in couplings. The control handle(s) is under the front of the seat towards the right.
