Ford 4000 3cyl white painted stripe or not?

Ford 4000 3cyl from the factory do they all come with the painted white stripe on the side of gas tank to the front nose hood? Or just put the decals?? How do you tell what is right?

65-68 have a painted stripe with Ford 4000 decals on the tank, hoods have louvers so no room for decals.
69-later smooth hood models have white stripe decals going from the tank to just behind the head lights, Ford 4000 lettering is in the same decal on the side of the hood.

and what color white do you spray for the
stripe

Ford Gray for that model, same color has the fenders and wheels.
