Working helping some high school kids restore a 660 Ford. We are planning to order sheet metal(hood and etc. from Dennis Carpenter) We
need the dash panel and the sheet metal that is underneath the dash. All or any help would be appreciated. We are located about 50 miles
west of Houston TX. Thanks for any info. Ag Man

You best bet is salvage yards. All of the models use the same one, and they rarely get damaged so they are readily available. The main hurdle to getting one however, is steering wheel removal. Salvage yards don't often take them off because of difficulty removing the wheel. Chances are they will let you have it for nothing if you use the wheel removal as a training session.

The dash sheetmetal that houses the gauges is different between the 600/601 series and the 800/801 series due to
the hole location for the steering shaft. The steering shaft hole is closer to the back edge of the panel due to
the hood sheetmetal being mounted higher on the 800/801 series. Best to look for a 600/601 series in a salvage
yard if working on a 660 so the dash panel fits correctly.
