My Ford TW20 with all the lights discharges and kills battery. We've rebuild the alternator and installed a new voltage regulator. The battery is also only a year old.

Cannot figure out the discharge.

Haven't touched any lighting since we bought the tractor 5 years ago.

You probably have a slight leak to ground. Try disconnecting half the lights then the other half until you loose the drain.

I am ivor from UK and some years ago I had same trouble with our john deere 2040 and the problem was faulty starter solenoid after I fitted new solenoid there was no more run down battery

(quoted from post at 18:01:43 04/21/17) Does the battery drain when the tractor sits overnight, or only when you're running it with the lights on?

Yes the batter does draw down. How long does that take I'm not sure haven't used the tractor much this winter. But every time we go to use it we have to jump it.

Try disconnecting the battery next time you park it. If it is still low after you reconnect and start it up again, you likely have a bad battery. This assumes normal charging voltage when it is running.

If you have an amp meter disconnect your negative battery cable and put one lead of the amp meter on the battery negative terminal, and the other on the negative cable. See what the current draw is just sitting there, a few milliamps is normal if you have a radio and clock that keep time. If you have much more than a few milliamps then start pulling fuses out of the box until the draw stops. When you find the fuse that stops your draw you found your source.
