ford jubilee hydraulic piston rod malfunction.

I'm Steve, new owner of a ford jubilee and looks like new mechanic for said tractor as well. Long story short hydraulics worked fine until we tried using a plow. Sudden loss of hydraulics, no fluid leaking outside. While investigating cause of problem I looked in the inspection port on the left side of the rear section. I could see fluid shooting out in a fine line from the right side of thehydraulic lift assembly and noticed the piston was pushed out of the cylinder casting and the piston rod had fallen down. I pushed the piston back in with a pry bar and could see the bottom of the casting is busted off. Any tips on what would cause this and the best way to fix my problem would be greatly appreciated.[/b]

Shock load can break the dog ear on the rockshaft. First thing to do is remove the lift deck (top cover) from the center housing and inspect the damage more closely. Then get back to us if you have questions.

On NAA the acorn nut on rite side needs to be removed and slotted tube needs to be screwed out. Shure helps on reinstallation of lift cover.

It looks like I need a new piston part number NAA530B and a lift cylinder part number NAA510B which I'm having trouble finding besides a used one for around $300. Also my draft control lever doesn't want to stay horizontal it springs about half way back. I'm going to try and upload pictures to make sure I'm looking for the right parts. I did take the acorn nut off and back out two turns before removing top plate.

There's a document out there somewhere detailing my NAA hydraulic restoration. I don't have it anymore, surely someone has it. That's what you need.
