Ford 3000 Carb Fuel Filter

Probably the start of several extremely novice type questions but, anyone know where I can find one of these?

I've poured over the websites but can't seem to find it unless I am missing big or not looking close enough at a kit.

Took the carb off and my son crushed the mesh/metal filter on the gas line.

Good luck. I started to cross thread mine and searched every where with no luck. Ended up using a series of files and chases to repair the threads. Mine too is missing the screen, down the line someone mush have pushed it in or something.

I bought a new one from here - it's the whole shebang, glass, housing and filter. I lost my element when I was rebuilding the engine.... I'm sure I'll come across it this summer cleaning the garage.

He's talking about the screen in the fitting at the carb, not the sediment bowl. At least I think he is.

Parts are so readily available I didn't understand why I couldn't find that. Now that I know I'm not crazy I'll figure out another way or just eliminate it.
