Ford 5000 steering

does anyone have any experience with an aftermarket power steering sector for a late ford 5000? I ordered one from Yesterday's and it fit perfectly and works fine, but there's a small hole at the base of the upper steering column that was not on my original unit. After running for a short time steering fluid started running from the hole. It looks like some kind of vent hole, but fluid should not be leaking. Any thoughts?

I would agree, fluid should not be leaking from that vent hole. I'd be calling the place you bought it from and asking them how they'd like to handle this situation.

You might try replacing the PS pump filter first if you haven't lately, in case excessive back pressure has something to do with the leak, which is a long shot in my mind.
