Have rebuilt the steering box and have the sector gears timed ok, but am having trouble meshing the (bearing) worm drive/shaft into the sector gears. I have found nothing on u tube to show this installation. When finished, should I have the 2 1/2 steering wheel turns as noted on the 8N's or is the 600 series different ? Thanks for any help.

(quoted from post at 07:43:43 03/29/17) Let me try this again...I have a ford 620 and have rebuilt the steering box and have the sector gears timed ok with the side covers bolted up. I'm having trouble getting the right placement for the steering shaft and nut assembly back into the box to match up with the sector gears properly. What am I doing wrong ? I have the wheels straight ahead with the sector arms straight down. I thought I had it, but the left arm went back farther than the right arm and I'm getting less that one full rotation on the steering wheel going left and right. I'ts a 620 with a front end loader.
