I second blocking the clutch down when storing or not in use. I just, today, started my tractor up, 861, which had been sitting since late Jan. with a frozen clutch. All I could think about all winter was having to split the darn thing this spring to fix it. I blocked the clutch as suggested and let it sit until today. Much to my suprise, the clutch was free and I was off into the woods. Thanks to this forum and all the help in getting me back in the seat. Tater
