Power Steering valve rebuild kit

I'm looking for the part number for a kit to rebuild the power steering valve in the steering column on my 641. Does anyone know the part number of this kit and a good place to purchase it from? Also are there any special tools required to dismantle and rebuild the valve? I seen there is complete replacement valve available, but it is over $500. I've already have allot stuck into rebuilding the steering box and the entire front end. Also changed the filter and fluid in the pump. It had a loader on it which really took it's toll on the steering system. It still steers hard when turning the steering wheel too quickly. Turning slow it seems ok. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

I made a blog post about your steering column.
It doesn't have part numbers but if you print out the photo of the parts diagram and the part #s I list and take them to your NH dealer they can order what you need.
Maybe some day I will add the part numbers.

I dont think theres a kit but I have rebuilt some using parts. Part numbers are on the CNH site. If its rusted and buggered up past cleaning you are done before you start. In my experinece minor wear on the chrome of the spool valve is not fatal.

I usually replace the top and bottom bearings, the springs and the check valve balls, as well as orings and seals obviously.

No special tools needed at all.

Thanks for the information guys. Good to hear no special tools are required. So I'm not afraid to dig into it. But I am concerned if the steering valve is really my problem or if it is rather a weak pump, or bad cylinders. As I mentioned, it steers ok turning slowly, but gets harder the faster you try to turn the wheel. I have changed the fluid and filter, and rebuilt the lower steering box. But it still turns with some resistance and worse turning faster. Guess I'll just have to keep after it one area at a time.

Thanks again guys. I appreciate your input.
