Spend two to three hours replacing it & you'll never have to worry about it again.

Spend some time looking through the archives. Lots of posts on this subject.

You have two options.

1. Pull out the old tube and press in a new one. The problem is finding a replacement tube. You might have to get one machined.

2. Epoxy in a sleeve. That approach is about 50% successful.

For me, I tried the sleeve and it has held for 4 years now. I guess I got lucky.

I think I have a leak in my Ford 4000 4 cylinder hydraulic pressure tube. What were the symptoms you were having with your tractor that you diagnosed it as a leak in the pressure tube? Thank you
