9 n hood

Friend needs a good but of course doesn't want to spend much. His is rusted on the bottom lip. Are the 8n and 2n the same?

2N yes, 8N no. But, close enough that you could cut a section
out and weld it in place of the rusted out portion.
The 8N had a port on the right side where the air breather
connected to a screen and funnel to draw in clean air.
Also look for whether or not it had the dealer installed through-
the-hood air intake on the 9N/2N. They have an extra hole.
They all seem to rust out in about the same spots though.

Ollie, 9n-2n hood the same. I have a nice hood with 2 small holes drilled where they bolted something to it. E-mail is open.
