proofmeter cable connection

rebuilding a ford county 1124 cable for tach.- proof meter is disconnected it connects somewhere on passenger side does not connect to generator ( drivers side) it is a 1970 model. Thanks for any help ..

I only know a little about the County tractors, but it may be like a 7000. They drove the tach off the end of the injection pump. 1970 would be too early for it to be driven off the oil pump.

My '63 2000D is driven off the end of the hyd pump, right side of tractor. '65 3000D is driven off the rear of the gen on the left side.
