Narrow Front

Well, wire brushed it for paint, cleaned and lubed the bearings and hubs, ran a die over all the studs, ran a tap thru all the lug nuts. Was going to put it on a 960 I have (had) on my farm in SE Illinois. Trouble now is, a neighbor just had to have the 960 for his grandson and I couldn't pass on his offer. So now I need something else to put this on. The hunt is on... Or... do I just take the recently aquired 961 down and get rid of this NF? I bet I know the wifes answer before I tell her my plot......

I'd say you definitely need another
tractor to put it on! I saw a decent
960 with PS in fort Wayne area for
$2,200. Wouldn't want all that work
you put into it to go to waste!!! ;)

I vote for another tractor too, that's what I would like! LOL

You probably already know this, but only the late model 960
had the two piece bolster for that to fit. The earlier ones, like
mine, have a one piece bolster. To swap WFE to NFE you have
to change the whole front bolster.
