Wind damage near miss

We had gusts of up to 65 mph in mid Michigan yesterday. Heard these dead ash trees come down on the other side of the barn. One tree managed to center-punch my Ford bucket. Didn't hurt it, but pounded it into the ground about 6 inches. The other one nailed my disk. Got everything cleaned up and in a burn pile. As I was watching them burn, I was thinking "Ashes to ashes". Is that a pun, or just an idle mind?

GLad to hear there wasn't more damage than there was.

My dad loved puns. He always said that the louder someone groaned at one, the better it was. I groaned a bit at yours, so yes it was a pun.

you were lucky. Last time we had a big wind like that we lost our barn. On the subject of puns: my dad had a saying, " That was 2/3 of a pun. PU! Lol. Glad your equiptment is ok.

glad your equipment was not damaged

I have a ford scoop like yours,
it was blue color when it got it, but all my other equipment is red, so it had to be painted red
I have used it many times over the years, I think the ford scoop is one of the best out there,
good tool to have, if you can not afford a front end loader.
