We have a 5030 tractor that I don't need that someone has expressed an interest in.It has 8 speeds forward and reverse with the direction shifter beside the steering wheel.4 wheel drive,2 remote valves and a Quicke loader with 60"bucket and twin prong bale spear.The front tires are good and the rears are probably 60% and 1950hrs. I haven't had much luck getting opinions of it's value so thought I would ask here.Would anybody be able to give a ballpark figure?Thanks,rob

blue book shows a 1999 fwd new holland 5030 to go between $7010 (low tradein) to $18010 (sell high price). Tractor sold new for $33356 with 56 pto hp and weighs 6125lbs. And thats without the loader.. I would add 3 to 5k for the loader and hay spear.
 
I have seen asking prices from 9000 to 18000. We paid 22000{CAN} about 8 years ago. I was thinking about asking 15 but don't have the final
say. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.
 

Does it have dual power making it a 16x8 with shuttle or the standard 8x8.
In ether case have you changed the trans fluid and cleaned the pump screen in the bottom of the trans.
If the trans has had regular fluid and screen service it's worth $12-16k US.
If the screen hasn't been serviced do it soon, I've been inside both the 16x8 and 8x8 and can tell you they're not cheap to fix and some parts are no longer available.
The main shaft bearings are oil pressure feed, if the screen becomes plugged bearing failure will happen
With the shuttle shift lever beside the steering wheel it's a 94-98 model
